Chantelau

About

Cutting metal in Telford, Pennsylvania since 1987

Chantelau runs out of a 14,000 square foot facility in Telford, PA. We've been preparing material for manufacturers since 1987 — carbon steels, stainless, aluminum, copper alloys, plastics, and high-temperature alloys, cut and finished for OEMs, machine shops, and material suppliers.

Our job is simple to describe and hard to do consistently: take raw stock and turn it into blanks that are the right length, the right tolerance, and clean enough to go straight into the next operation. Every time.

Inside the Chantelau shop

Quality

Checked in process, not just at the end

Cuts are measured as the run goes, so a drift gets caught on part twenty instead of part two thousand. Dimensional documentation is available when your job requires it.

Parts are packaged to arrive in the condition they left in — which matters more than people admit once the freight company gets involved.

Do not add without proof Third-party directories list Chantelau as “ISO 9000 compatible.” That claim is not on the current site and it is deliberately not on this one. Do not add any certification language unless the client produces the certificate.

Ownership

New ownership, same shop

Client decision — recommended, needs approval Recommendation: state the ownership change plainly and pair it with what's being added (equipment, capability, capacity). Buyers find out anyway. Hearing it from you reads as investment; discovering it later reads as instability. If the client would rather leave it off, delete this whole section — nothing else on the site depends on it.

Chantelau came under new ownership in [year]. The shop, the crew, and the equipment stayed. What's changed is investment: [new equipment / expanded capability / added capacity]. The goal is straightforward — keep doing what this shop has done well since 1987, with more capability behind it.
